Hitch offers the flexibility for riders to book for a variety of departure times throughout the day. To ensure that rides run smoothly for all passengers, we employ the following cancellation policy:

Cancellations made within 1 minute of booking are fully refundable.

Cancellations made 1 hour or more before departure time is fully refundable. 

Your bank may hold the charge as 'pending' on your account for up to 24 hours. If you've canceled the ride within the above time frames, you may still see the charge as pending. It will fall off and not debit your account.

Refunds can take 3-5 business days to reflect on your account. 

**Cancellations made within an hour of departure are non-refundable.** This includes, but is not limited to no-show bookings, late bookings, and violations of Hitch guidelines.

You can cancel your ride directly in the app. To do this, you'll select your ride from the 'Trips' section, click cancel - and then confirm your cancellation
