Since we love animals at Hitch, we permit pets on rides and as a driver, we ask that you comply with this policy. To ensure the safety of our furry friends and anyone in the car, we ask that riders follow our pet policy.

Riders with pets must:

  1. Book a private ride or premier ride

  2. Secure pet in a kennel for the duration of the ride

Only one pet is allowed per ride.

If you encounter a situation where one of these requirements is not met, please contact support in the Hitch app. If you have accepted a pet in your ride without our knowledge, we cannot support any issues that may come up. Look for more details in your Driver's Resources tab within the app.

⭐ Please note ADA compliant Medical Service Dogs do NOT need to be crated or contained and can travel on shared rides.

Hitch complies with all state and federal laws. State and federal law prohibit drivers from denying service to riders with service animals because of the service animals and from otherwise discriminating against riders with service animals.

Drivers have a legal obligation to provide service to riders with service animals.

A driver cannot lawfully deny service to riders with service animals because of allergies, religious objections, or a generalized fear of animals.
