Cancellation Policy

When and how you can cancel your scheduled Hitch ride.

Sometimes, things arise, and riders may need to cancel their scheduled ride. To keep things running smoothly, we have the following cancelation policy.

  • 100% refund in Hitch credits on rides canceled 1 hour before departure

  • No credit or refund is offered for rides canceled less than 1 hour before departure.

Hitch credit never expires and is added to your account in the amount of your original booking price. Your total amount of credit will appear in your app under your profile icon.


Select "View Details" from the "Upcoming Trips" to cancel your scheduled ride. From there, select "cancel ride" and confirm cancellation.
